Small Group Training

This Academy, coached by Denver Elite Youth Director & University of Denver Director of Operations Michael McCormack, is for boys offensive players looking to improve their skills and training habits. He coaches all aspects of shooting: form, step-downs, on-the-run, dodging from up top, dodging from behind, re-dodging, etc. With small groups focused on each age group, players are able to get the attention they need focused on specific areas for personal improvement.

YOUTH (WEDNESDAYS)

4th-5th Grade: 6:00-7:15pm

6th-8th Grade: 7:15-8:30pm

HIGH SCHOOL (TUESDAYS)

January 9, 16, 23, 30 & February 6

Foothills Fieldhouse (3606 S. Independence St., Lakewood, CO)

9th-12th Grade: 7:00-8:15pm

Each session is limited to 16 players!

Michael grew up around the game his entire life, his father being the Williams College Lacrosse head coach. He was a 3 sport athlete in HS, and became the All-Time leading scorer in Massachusetts history with 611 career points. Michael then attended & graduated from Middlebury College where he was an All-Conference & All-American Selection in 2018. With extra eligibility, he then had two grad years at UVM where he was a two-time All-Conference selection, two-time All-New England selection, two-time America East champion, & was a member of the Tewaaraton watch-list in 2021. He is currently the Director of Operations for the University of Denver Men's Lacrosse Program and is also the Youth Director for Denver Elite.
