Quickdraw Faceoff Sessions

This Academy, coached by DU standout and current PLL player Alec Stathakis, is for boys face-off players looking to improve their skills and training habits. With small groups focused on each age group, players are able to get the attention they need focused on specific areas for personal improvement.

Cost is $595. You will have the option of completing full payment at the time of registration, or making a deposit payment of $297.50. If you choose to make only the deposit payment, your card will be charged for the balance of $297.50 on January 3rd.

Culver Academies: Coach Stathakis is a two-time National Champion, leading Culver Academy to victory in both 2016 and 2018. In his senior year, he dominated the faceoff circle, winning 85% of faceoffs. His performance earned him the prestigious title of Under Armour All-American, and he was ranked #4 in the Inside Lacrosse Top-100 Freshman Rankings.

University of Denver: During his collegiate career at the University of Denver, Coach Stathakis continued to excel. He was named a 2022 Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American, a two-time Team Captain (2023 and 2024), and was recognized as an Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American in 2023. His standout performances placed him on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List in both 2023 and 2024. In 2024, he earned USA Lacrosse Second Team All-American honors and was named to the Inside Lacrosse Third Team All-American. Over the course of his career, he recorded 966 faceoff wins and 540 groundballs across 70 games.

USA U-21 Team: Coach Stathakis represented the USA U-21 team at the 2023 World Lacrosse Championship in Limerick, Ireland, where he played a crucial role in securing a gold medal for Team USA.

Professional Career: In his professional career, Coach Stathakis was picked up by the Philadelphia Waterdogs in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), playing in 7 games and winning 45% of his faceoffs. He was also drafted by the Vancouver Warriors in the National Lacrosse League (NLL), marking the next chapter of his lacrosse journey.
