Our Founders
LXTC was founded by Bill Tierney, Trevor Tierney and Matt Brown in 2009, when the three coaches took over the University of Denver men’s lacrosse program. Since then, the Denver Pioneers have gone on to reach five NCAA Final Fours and a National Championship in 2015, to build their legacy as a national power. The three men who led this emergence for the Pioneers are a few of the most accomplished coaches and players in the game of lacrosse. At the same time that they were building their Denver Pioneers team, these coaches began working with the Colorado lacrosse community and created multiple lacrosse programs for young lacrosse players to participate in. LXTC is the culmination of that hard work and now includes the Denver Pioneers Lacrosse Camps, the Denver Elite Club Teams, the Denver Pride Club Teams, Goalie Evolution Academy, the Denver USBOXLA Teams & Leagues, the Mammoth Box Lacrosse Training Program, and 90 Degree Shooting Academy. Through these programs, LXTC offers the premier lacrosse developmental program for youth and high school players in Colorado on a year-round basis. These programs are built upon the same building blocks that has brought the University of Denver so much success. The LXTC founders and coaches believe in running a program that is based on integrity and are dedicated to helping young men reach their full potential on and off the field.
